Clean Energy. Shared Future

The Marmont Foundation is dedicated to funding research and education into sustainable energy solutions. We believe that ground breaking research, when translated into practical applications, holds the key to addressing global energy and sustainability challenges.

The Marmont Foundation is proud to support the next generation of researchers committed to making a tangible difference.

We are offering ‘high impact’ PhD studentships aimed at fostering scientific innovation and academic excellence, with a clear focus on applied research solving real-world problems. These scholarships are designed to support researchers who are passionate about developing and implementing sustainable energy solutions in communities where they are needed most.

Our current initiatives, such as the continuation of Esther Phiri’s work in Malawi, exemplify our commitment to putting research into action. We are supporting PhD studentships at Loughborough University to advance research.

If you are a driven and innovative researcher with a desire to see your work have a real-world impact in the field of sustainable energy, we encourage you to regularly check this page. We are particularly interested in projects that demonstrate a clear pathway to implementation and contribute to a more sustainable future.

By supporting PhD researchers, The Marmont Foundation aims to not only advance academic understanding but also to empower communities and create a lasting legacy of positive change. J

We take a long-term approach, working with universities, government agencies and other funders to underpin environmental sustainability research and real-world action.
